Native Child Dinétah was able to secure one of the rarest sets of books ever published about Navajo. It was a project sponsored by the Arizona Bicentennial Commission, and published by the Navajo Heritage Center in Window Rock, which is now the Navajo Nation Museum.
Book Description: A set of 6 volumes. 2848 total pages, 250 photos and illustrations. Illustrations by Jack Phasteen. Oblong 12 1/4 x 9 1/2. Black spines overlapping 3 inches on front and back covers. Title NAVAJO in gilt running vertically in large letters on sides of spine and on back of spine. Nubby white cloth covers w arrowhead motif in gilt. A few nicks on spine sides (see photo) and occasional faint soiling on white portion of covers. Internally clean, unmarked. Very Good +
